Atlanta, GA - January 12, 2004 - afterBOT Inc., an Atlanta, GA based IBM Business Partner today announced the successful completion of the port of its ReceiptsPLUS™ Application to a comprehensive store-to-host IBM solution environment. ReceiptsPLUS™ is the leading industry application for the creation, storage and delivery of secure unique views of relevant post sale transaction data based on the ARTS IXRetail Digital Receipt Schema.

afterBOT's ReceiptPLUS™ offering, which is the first technology solution based on the ARTS standard, creates an atomic level database of who bought what, when, where, for how much and how paid and extends the retail enterprise into the homes or offices of customers and suppliers by delivering secure unique views of relevant information to support business process change, improve customer service, and provide an effective vendor collaboration tool. The unique views are web enabled through afterBOT's Retailer Connection, Supplier Connection and Consumer Connection which enable access to detailed or summary level transaction data on a permission basis across the extended enterprise.

"We have successfully ported our ReceiptsPLUS™ application to an IBM environment including the WebSphere J2EE application server, DB2 Database layer and the MQ messaging layer - all running on a Linux platform" said Jim Nadler, afterBOT's Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. "As part of the project we completed the integration effort with IBM's XML based Data Integration Facility for access and collection of POS data. We will be demonstrating real time integration of POS data into our application in both the IBM Booth and the ARTS Pavilion at the NRF's Big Show 2004."

"This effort and the interest of the IBM team further validates afterBOT's leadership in this area", said John Simon, afterBOT CEO." We have received tremendous support from IBM and look forward to working together to bring this unique solution to the marketplace."
